Soroptimist have been serving communities for over 75 years.  Membership provides direct involvement in local, regional, national and international service projects; professional growth and leadership development; networking for business and social; pride in knowing that membership upholds the ideals of world peace and harmony; and, accomplishing projects that address the needs of women

Be The Best!

A Soroptimist is a leader in her community.  She is actively engaged in a management of professional capacity, in the private or public sector, or in an occupation with comparable responsibilities.  She believes that by joining with other women and engaging in awareness, advocacy and action in the service of her community and society, she can make the world a better place for humankind.   Membership in a Soroptimist club is by invitation from the club.

The classification principle of membership is the foundation upon which a Soroptimist club is established and maintained.  It assures a membership that is representative of the business and professional life in the community where the club is located.

We invite you to consider becoming a member of our classified women's service organization.  Through Soroptimist membership, you will have the opportunity to realize personal fulfillment by blending your service concerns with social and business interests.  You can be the best by achieving your full potential.

All members are responsible for the following:

  • Attendance at scheduled business and program meeting.
  • Membership on committees and participation in committee activities.
  • Service on boards and councils that support community endeavors.
  • Attendance at Regional Conferences.
  • Recognition and encouragement of the achievements of women in the community.
  • Participation in fund raising events to benefit club projects.
  • Payment of club dues.
